Keep Little Ava In Your Prayers!

Well, the saga continues with Ava. I took her in for her checkup on Friday, and they are concerned that she may have kidney damage and/or Urinal Reflex. The Urinal reflux means that instead of all the urine emptying out of the kidney and bladder, some "refluxes" back up into the kidneys. She'll go to a Pediatric Urologist and he'd tell us if we can watch it for a year or if we'd have to do surgery. As for the kidney damage, we'll just have to watch and see. I'm actually on hold right now trying to schedule all her tests at the Banner Desert Pediatric Unit. We propably won't be able to get in for a few weeks, so that's a little unnerving. She acts like she's just fine - and I'm sure everything will okay, but keep her in your prayers please.

Alisa that is so sad. What an awful thing to have to go through. We will pray for little Ava, and let us know if there is anything we can do, especially when your appointments come up.

I'm so sorry! What a scary thing to go through, poor Ava (and poor you!). My friend's little guy had the exact same problem, he ended up getting the surgery to fix it and everything is perfectly fine. She's a fellow blogger, I should hook you guys up so you can ask her questions, it's always nice to talk to someone who went through the same thing. Keep us posted and we'll definately keep her in our prayers!

My neighbor next door has a little girl that had surgery for that. They fixed it and she's fine now. I'll give you her number. Poor thing. I hate it when I'm the one that has to take them to the mean doctors that stick and poke at them. It's for their own good, I guess, but I still hate it.

Poor little girl. Having lots of appointments is not fun either. She'll be in our prayers.
